New Identity, Same Great Taste

Cate Street Seafood Station is a beloved restaurant in Hammond, LA, known for its fresh seafood and vibrant atmosphere. I had the pleasure of partnering with them on a rebranding project to elevate their identity and create a cohesive brand experience. This included designing a new logo, updating their color palette and fonts, and ensuring all visual elements aligned seamlessly to bring the brand to life in all areas of the business.

PROJECT BACKGROUND:

Cate Street Seafood Station is housed in a historic building that dates back over a century. Originally an old Hammond Train Depot, the passenger depot was replaced in 1912 by a brick structure on the west side of the railroad tracks. The original building then became a freight depot and was relocated to its current location in 1923. After closing in 1962, it served as a site for various retail businesses until the Wong Family purchased it in 2004. With the rebranding, we aimed to create a brand that felt fresh while also paying homage to this rich history.
